The Lightning Thief Introduction

2. What do you know about learning disabilities such as ADHD or dyslexia? Do you
know anyone who has a learning disability? Do you think a person with a learning
disability should receive more time to complete tests or less homework than a
person without a learning disability? Yes,and no.It really depends on the situation, and if they abuse their power.I say that because I understand what it is like, and nobody s perfect.we are all different and work at our own pace. But if that means that all the assignments are late, and you are not willing to try, then no it is not okay.
3. In Ancient times, the Greeks had gods for many important forces in their lives --
the sea, thunderstorms, farming, music, medicine, poetry, archery, etc. Why do
you think they imagined many different gods rather than just one? Would this
make life more confusing or less confusing? I think that to some people it could be confusing because if they needed help, they would have a hard time deciding who to go to.But at the same time, everyone would be a god of their own thing, and what they love to do.If their was just one, there would be jealousy, but if their was more, there would be rivalry.
4. Young children often imagine that their parents aren’t really their parents. What
would it be like if you suddenly found out that you had a “real” father or mother
you never knew about? What if this person was extremely rich and powerful –
would you accept them as a parent? I wouldn't accept them as a parent because they weren't there all my life and it just wouldn't seem right to just forget about my other parents.Even though they were rich, money can't buy you happiness.
5. Do you believe in anything that science can’t prove -- such as magic, or ghosts, or
creatures like the Loch Ness monster? Why or why not? I do because ghosts are all around us.I prefer to call them spirits, because that's pretty much what we are,but we are just in a body.As far as the Loch Ness monster,I never really heard of it,therefor I don't believe in it.Maybe somebody just made a mistake in what they saw,and the word just spread.
